Helping other women succeed in business is one of my passions. That’s why I’m so excited about a program that Denver University will be announcing this fall called The Center for the Advancement of Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship for Women (ABLE). I have had the good fortune of chairing the founder’s committee and believe this will be a resource that will make a significant difference.

As part of the founding team, I became even more aware of the data that demonstrates how big the need is for a program like ABLE for Women. We all know women are not represented at the top in corporate America anywhere near equal numbers to men. Yet the fact is women bring different talents and traits to leadership roles than men, both of which complement each other and can result in even greater business success.

It’s no surprise, then, that it is going to take both men and women working together to assure the opportunities are there for women to achieve the summits of business success. All of us on the committee and at the university are eager for the Fall launch of this exciting new resource and look forward to your support.
